What you can report here
Please note: the German version of this page is the legally authoritative one. This English text is a convenience translation; in case of any discrepancy, the German wording prevails.
stads is a hosting service under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (the Digital Services Act, DSA): advertisers submit one line of ad text plus a link, which we store and serve into CLI status bars. If you consider a served ad or its destination link illegal (e.g. fraud, malware, phishing, unlawful goods, misleading advertising), you can report it here. This is the Art. 16 DSA notice-and-action mechanism. Any individual or entity may submit a notice.
How to report (Art. 16 DSA)
Email the point of contact below. So we can assess your notice promptly and properly, please include:
- a sufficiently precise identification of the ad - the displayed ad text and/or the link it contains;
- an explanation of why you consider the content illegal;
- your name and email address (except for suspected child-sexual-abuse offences) so we can respond;
- a statement that you are acting in good faith that your information is accurate and complete.
We confirm receipt of your notice, assess it in a timely, diligent, non-arbitrary manner, and notify you of our decision. If your notice contains contact details, you receive a statement of reasons. For illegal content we may remove or disable the ad, suspend the account, and, where necessary, notify the competent authorities.
Statement of reasons to advertisers (Art. 17 DSA)
When we remove, disable, or pause an ad, the affected advertiser receives a statement of reasons: the action taken, whether it rests on illegality or a breach of our Terms, the facts relied on, whether automated means were used, and information on available redress. stads is a micro/small enterprise and is therefore exempt from the internal complaint-handling system and out-of-court dispute-settlement duties (Art. 20-21 DSA); the Art. 17 statement-of-reasons duty and recourse to the ordinary courts are unaffected.
Single point of contact (Art. 11 & 12 DSA)
As the single point of contact for direct, electronic communication with Member-State authorities, the Commission, and the European Board for Digital Services (Art. 11 DSA), and for recipients of the service (Art. 12 DSA), we designate:
Languages of communication: German and English. Provider details are in the Impressum. As a provider established in the EU (Germany), no separate Art. 13 DSA legal representative is required.
